Hi, it’s me 👋 A small note that after keeping my pricing fairly unchanged for a while, I’ll be adjusting rates headed into 2027 to better reflect the market and the experience I’ve built over the years.

I’ll always care most about making work that feels honest, atmospheric, and human. I’m probably the right fit for you if you love:

slow & imperfect moments, emotional storytelling, beautiful light, movement, architecture, texture, and photos that feel like memories instead of performances.

Current pricing will still be honored for 2026 bookings made this year. 🤍

Five women, one family line. Grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters. Strength passed down in quiet ways.

A Happy Mother’s Day celebration for the badass women holding so much, and carrying each other forward. 🤍

This journalism work matters because words and images can help people slow down and see the human being inside a headline. When stories intersect with domestic violence, incarceration, and advocacy, careful documentation becomes part of a larger effort toward understanding and accountability.

Photographing Keshia with her daughter was quiet and intimate. Sitting with a mother and child in this context was a reminder that behind every legal case is a family navigating daily life in the middle of uncertainty.

With appreciation to and the teams at and for their reporting and advocacy. And to my friend Sierra .b whose work as a public defender continues to make an impact.

When the city softens for fall and two people step fully into their love story. 🍂 Chris and Kirsten are framed by color, skyline, and that timeless “When Harry Met Sally” feeling, the kind that never really goes out of style.

Writing this over hot tea and a winter wonderland outside. My sessions with Sarah and her family always feel like the start of the holiday season — crisp air, birthdays on the way, Thanksgiving creeping in, and that first hint of holiday sparkle. Her sons’ bright jackets reminded me of festive lights against the last of the autumn leaves. The Midwest knows how to shift its palette.

Another autumn afternoon with Julia, Amit, Roland, Ursula, and baby Persephone at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. The trees and shrubs were glowing, the pond was calm, and the kids explored every corner, from leaf piles to the little prairie pavilion tucked into the landscape. Warm textures, cozy fall colors, and matching Adidas made it feel like the perfect seasonal tradition with this family I adore photographing.

A quiet fall afternoon at Graue Mill with Hannah, Miles, Hudson, and Harper. The colors were vibrant, and the kids curious as ever, collecting leaves and wandering ahead. It was my first time photographing Harper and she fit right into the rhythm of this sweet family. Thank you for your support as always!
