A study in red. Timeless traditions, modern romance, and a celebration that was anything but ordinary.

When it came time to plan their wedding, Y & E chose the heart of downtown Chicago. Set against the timeless elegance of The Langham, their celebration was a beautiful balance of tradition, modern romance, and unapologetic color.

Guests were welcomed by sweeping red velvet drapery before entering a ballroom transformed by Yanni Design. Two towering trees, sculptural florals, glowing lanterns, and an abundance of candlelight brought their vision to life. And Shaun? He took the concept and RAN with it.

From an intimate tea ceremony and three custom bridal looks to a spirited lion dance and a dance floor filled with movement, the entire celebration felt organic, joyful, and undeniably fun.

Refined, intentional, and effortlessly composed, yet full of life. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, while the moments in between unfolded naturally.

MEET ME BY THE LAKE.

An intimate affair with a touch of old-world romance.

Set against the romantic backdrop of Giovanna’s private family lake house, Giovanna and JP envisioned a celebration that was effortlessly elegant, fashion-forward, and refreshingly understated. A cocktail-style reception, thoughtfully manicured grounds, and an atmosphere reminiscent of a modern poetic summer.

The romance was soft, the fashion was unapologetically chic, and the energy was anything but understated. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple celebrated well into the evening, with a dance floor that remained packed from the first song to the very last.

A little cinematic nostalgia, a little modern mafia romance, and a love story best remembered on film.

Two ch*****ne flutes held up like opera glasses. A groom fixing his own bow tie like no one taught him because no one had to. These aren’t the safe shots. They’re the ones that make you pause mid-scroll and go wait, what is this.

An Elevated Aerial Perspective.

Along the shoreline just beyond The Ringling, this engagement session unfolded with movement and intention. The first frame - a quiet twirl, effortless and unposed capturing that in-between moment where everything feels light.

Then, a shift in perspective. From above, the story widens. A top-down view of the marina, rows of boats lined with precision, creating a composition that feels undeniably eye-pleasing - balanced, structured, and calm. It’s the kind of visual harmony I’m always drawn to, and a reflection of how I see my art: intentional, cinematic, and grounded in both emotion and design.
