Time has absolutely flown since Stacy & David’s winter elopement at Lincoln Park Conservatory, and I realized I never properly shared this incredibly special day. ❤️

These two kicked off 2026 for me in the most beautiful way.

After 21 years together, Stacy & David chose to get married on the exact anniversary of the night they met at a concert at Metro back on February 4, 2005. Music brought them together, and over two decades later, it still quietly runs through the rhythm of their relationship.

Their ceremony was intimate, intentional, and completely true to who they are. Just the two of them and their parents gathered inside the warmth of Lincoln Park Conservatory on a cold Chicago winter evening to honor a love that had already stood the test of time.

No big production.
No pressure to follow tradition.
Just two people who have spent 21 years choosing one another, day after day.

One of my favorite details from planning with Stacy was hearing her talk about her love for The Smashing Pumpkins and “Thru the Eyes of Ruby.” Honestly, it felt fitting for their story. There was something very beautifully “Chicago” about two people who met through music, built a life together over decades, and chose to celebrate their marriage quietly, intentionally, and entirely in their own way.

Stacy & David, thank you for trusting me to help tell your story and witness this moment in your lives. Your wedding was proof that intimate celebrations can hold just as much meaning, emotion, and magic as the biggest ballroom wedding.

2026 began a little differently for me.

At the start of the year, I quietly stepped back from social media for a bit. Not because I stopped loving what I do, but because I needed a moment to breathe, refocus, and simply be present in real life for a while.

But while things may have been quiet here online… real life has been anything but quiet.
So far this year, I’ve already had the honor of standing beside 9 incredible couples as they promised forever to each other.

Nine love stories. Nine wedding days. Nine moments where time seemed to pause for just a second while two people chose each other, fully and intentionally.

And honestly? Those moments still give me goosebumps every single time.

For those who may be new here… hi, I’m Carla, owner and officiant behind Forever Incredible Ceremonies.

I write and perform custom wedding ceremonies for couples who want their ceremony to feel personal, meaningful, emotional, joyful, and true to who they are.

No cookie-cutter scripts. No generic words. No “just getting through the ceremony.”

I believe your ceremony should feel like the heart of your wedding day.

The part where everyone in the room understands your story a little more deeply. The part you actually remember years from now. The moment your marriage begins.

After more than two and half decades of officiating weddings, I still walk away from ceremonies feeling deeply honored that couples trust me with one of the most important moments of their lives.

In 2025, I had the incredible honor of officiating weddings across Chicago and beyond - from intimate elopements to full, joy-filled celebrations. Every ceremony was different because every couple was different. Different stories. Different values. Different ways of making it forever.

Julie & Jason 🤍 married today, surrounded by their six closest friends, including the very people who helped bring them together in the first place. There is something incredibly special about a wedding where every single person in the room is part of the story.

Their ceremony at RPM Seafood was intimate, intentional, and deeply personal. They included a ring warming, inviting each of their loved ones to hold their rings and offer a quiet wish or blessing before Julie and Jason exchanged them, a beautiful reminder that this marriage is supported and held by community. They also planted a Christmas tree together, symbolizing growth, care, and the seasons of life they’ll move through side by side, returning to it year after year as a living reminder of this day.

Julie and Jason entered their ceremony to Back to the Light, a song written by Jason himself. It was emotional, meaningful, and straight from the heart ❤️ the kind of moment that stops time and stays with you. After the ceremony, they shared their first dance to At Last, flowing seamlessly into an evening of celebration, connection, and joy.

This is a couple who knows what it means to choose one another with intention. Their love is steady, joyful, and unmistakably real, and today was a beautiful reflection of exactly who they are.

On the winter solstice and in the lush, living beauty of Garfield Park Conservatory, they were married in a way that felt intentional, intimate, and completely true to who they are. Every word, every glance, every breath of the ceremony was rooted in love—and in the quiet confidence of two people choosing each other fully.

Yesterday, 12.13.25, Kate and John were married in an elegant wintertime ceremony at , surrounded by a room overflowing with love 🤍

With sparkling white lights glowing on Christmas trees, soft candlelight lining the aisle, and simple white bows adding a timeless touch, the atmosphere was warm, romantic, and unmistakably them. Their ceremony was sweet, sentimental, and deeply authentic, with a minimalist nod to their Catholic roots that honored tradition while still feeling modern and personal.

One of the most meaningful moments came through the voices of family—an aunt from each side sharing readings that reflected love, intention, and the quiet strength of partnership. It was a beautiful reminder of how rooted Kate and John are in family, connection, and shared values.

What stands out most about these two is their ease. The way they move through life together—the calm, the laughter, the understanding—it’s palpable. You can feel it in the room when they’re together, and yesterday it wrapped around everyone present.

One week ago today on 12.6.25, I had the honor of officiating the sweetest winter elopement along the Chicago Riverwalk for Kayleigh & Dylan ❄️🤍

As part of the incredible team, we gathered with their immediate families to celebrate seven years of love, friendship, and the next chapter of their journey together. Snow and ice lined the river, the air was unmistakably cold — and yet, the warmth surrounding these two was undeniable.

Kayleigh and Dylan are the kind of couple who make everything feel easy. Best friends, true partners, and deeply grounded in the joy of simply doing life side by side. Their ceremony was intimate, meaningful, and perfectly them - a beautiful reminder that a wedding day doesn’t need to be grand to be incredibly powerful.

This afternoon, Haley and Stanton eloped along the Chicago Riverwalk — on a crisp, chilly day that only made the moment feel more meaningful. Wrapped in coats, holding hands, and standing in the city where their story first began, they chose to celebrate years of love and commitment in the most intentional way.

Chicago has a way of holding love — loud and quiet, bold and tender — and today it showed up beautifully for these two. No guests, no distractions, just a heartfelt ceremony focused on what matters most: choosing each other.

I was honored to serve as their wedding officiant as part of the Elope to Chicago team, helping bring their simple, romantic elopement to life right along the Riverwalk. Proof that even on the coldest days, love is always worth celebrating.

Friday afternoon, Felicia and Sean eloped in the sweetest, most heartfelt ceremony at The Kimpton Gray. From the moment we stepped into The Robbie Room, it felt like the world had narrowed to just the two of them… and their beloved pup Alfredo, who looked on with so much love (and just a little distraction anytime something interesting passed by the window).

After seven beautiful years together, this day marked the start of their forever—and it couldn’t have been more heartfelt. ✨

They exchanged rings they had made for each other, a gesture that felt so deeply personal and symbolic of the years they’ve spent growing together. Standing beside them as they celebrated their love story—and stepped into a lifetime ahead—was truly something special.

It was such a joy to be part of this intimate celebration with the incredible Elope to Chicago team, helping bring another love story to life right in the heart of downtown Chicago.
