Patrick Garrett and I photographed Lizzy's sister Catie's wedding in Michigan last summer and fell in love with their whole family. Needless to say we were pretty excited when Lizzy contacted us about capturing her and Aaryn's wedding in Breckenridge. The whole weekend was a dream. The best group of people that made us feel like part of the family, a couple so in love (and easy to photograph!), a top notch team and mountains!! More Colorado weddings please!!

Jennifer & Mark's stunning wedding at the Chicago Botanic Garden is on the blog! Kara Hillier Superfine, HMR Designs and Clementine Ink + Paper knocked it out of the park. Every detail was perfect and Jennifer and Mark had the biggest smiles on their faces all day. It was such a special day to be a part of. Patrick Garrett and I also had a blast working with the talented team behind Highway 61 Films. I'm dying to see the video!!

I was so excited when Caili of Caili Helsper Photography reached out to me about photographing her family. Not only was I dying to meet her in person, but it is always an honor when another photographer trusts you to capture such special memories. Between social media, email and mutual friends I felt like I already knew Caili going into the session. Last weekend I got to visit and photograph one of my favorite families. Amy Jo Royall and I became friends when they lived in Chicago and I have her to thank for introducing me to Patrick Garrett. She is one of the kindest people I have ever known. I just adore her and her sweet little family. It makes me sad that we don't live close anymore, but hey it's another reason to plan some fun trips :).

I have been friends with Jen since college and photographing her daughter Sienna since she was just three months old. It has been so fun to watch the relationship between these two. Sienna is Jen's mini me and completely adores her. Jen is also killing it at motherhood (she has three little ones) while achieving her own personal goals. She's an incredible runner and hoping to beat three hours in the Chicago marathon this weekend...yes you read that right. Good luck Jen!!
