I've always been attracted to minimalist photographs since I was a kid. I would flip through my sister's fashion magazines and my dad's National Geographic he bought from his work trips from the USA (for those who don't know I grew up in the Philippines). Maybe a couple hundred issues or more were stacked neatly on the built in bookshelves up the round staircase. I would sit on the wooden floor, flipping through them, staring at photographs, skimming through titles and captions. There's so much to the world I have yet to see and the portraits were incredible. I never thought in a million years I'll end up as professional photographer. After trying different styles, it occurred to me that minimalism is a recurring theme in my life and in my images. Then I fell in love with bo***ir photography and how my subjects felt about themselves afterwards. The photographs I still love most are the simplest ones. No distractions—just the woman, their essence, and the art of simplicity. ✨ Less clutter, more intimacy. "
