I've lived near Chicago for most of my life, immersed in the palette of the Great Lakes region, and it shows up everywhere in my work. I never met a color I didn't like a little bit better with just a tinge of blue either in it or near it - like catching a reflection of Lake Michigan out of the corner of my eye. The idea of crafting art as a daily artisanal endeavor, much like the old glassworks o

r potteryworks, is what inspired the name for the shop. If you can create something new each day, over time each day becomes your work of art. And every day is a good day to create, to learn, and to grow.
