Mount Carmel & Brother Rice faced off in a battle of top ranked teams who happen to be in the same conference.

Tuscola High School has two-tiered style gymnasium. It's probably one of over a hundred such gyms in Illinois, but from the center-court scoreboard, a parquet-wood court, to the decorated partion wall, it stands apart from others gyms built in this manner.
