Colorado you are stunning! Personally there might not be a more surreal experience than skiing down the face of a mountain from 13,000 feet up as you hear the sounds of controlled Avalanche’s detonating in the distance. A dream come true. Till next time.

The college grind is officially back in session 📚 and WOW do I miss this view!!!

My goals for the semester are simple: to keep the GPA high, consistently workout, and to continue my pursuit of Photography and bettering my craft. I’ve been very inspired to create and turn this amazing hobby into something bigger in the future! But for now, it’s important to focus on the small steps that will lead me in that direction!

I want to say thank you for all the love on the last two personal stills I posted. For the longest time I always kept my personal photos to me bc I figured they wouldn’t “perform” well on here and then I realized that the biggest person holding me back from achieving my dream was me and from then my mindset has totally changed. So expect to see a lot more now! And if you see yourself in the same boat as I was, I suggest breaking out of your comfort zone and posting what you like instead of what you think others will like. There is more happiness that comes from that, I promise 🙏🏼

Inspiration comes at the most random times for me! I remember getting off work and driving home when I noticed the sky behind me and instantly this photo idea popped into my head. After rushing to the house and scooping up my camera I immediately headed out to this spot with the hopes of recreating the vision that was in my head! Some days my vision falls short but on this day it came out exactly like I had hoped 🙌🏼

I took this photo right after sunset. Something that I learned very quickly from photography is that your best colors come out after the sun has set! So I waited patently and the sky slowly filled up with these colors which perfectly reflected off of the water creating a mirroring effect that was breathtaking to shoot 📷

Picnic Table Island 🌴🧺

I gave it the name “Picnic Table Island” A few years ago because if you zoom in you will notice a old picnic table in the middle! It’s thee ultimate picnic destination for sure 🏝 and not a single foot has touched this island in years! I am determined to kayak out there one day...just need to get ahold of one! Until then I will thank my P4p for capturing its beauty! From above you can really get a glimpse of how isolated and unique this small tear-shaped Island truly is!

While in Florida, towards the end of my trip, I was lucky enough to capture these baby Loggerhead sea turtles experiencing life for the first time! It was truly unbelievable to witness these amazing little creatures! They were then moved to a wildlife sanctuary to be released at nightfall under better survival conditions. At night, these guys use the moonlight to guide them out to sea. From there they will lay low from predators until they grow big enough to safely explore their new home!

It is up to us to protect the sea turtle population. Because of habitat destruction, climate change, and many other factors these guys have a harder time surviving but with global change we can help to protect these guys and keep these creatures in our oceans! 🐢 @ Florida
