BON VOYAGE
MK’s residency at the Ambassador has come to an end. It was an honor to hang one last time in a space that shared many memories and opportunities. I remember some of earlier conversations of just manifesting a residency.

I resonated with her desire to do good work and cultivate a community that inspires and supports one another.

I can’t wait to see how her next chapter unfolds. How much control of the things we want to manifest can we reclaim? At the end of the day, it’s not that serious lol. Maintain perspective and keep going.

The Wards ❤️

Had the pleasure of revisiting to capture Katie and Zach tying the knot. The day was filled with so much love from their friends and family. These two took it all fully in. From sewing a button back on the wedding dress to getting help tying a bow tie, nothing was getting in the way of celebrating their love.

Jason Chan everyone. He’s been an inspiration, a mentor, a friend, and has even become family. A true professional at his craft. Authentically confident. Generously compassionate yet precise with discipline. There’s a mysterious aura about him. Like you wonder how the heck he does it all. And then you meet him and he makes you feel like you’re the only person that matters to him at the moment. Justine and I had the great honor of having Jason guide us into marriage and were eternally grateful for it. Just some small reflections of a truly one of a kind human. ❤️ You’ll all be able to experience his definition of hospitality soon.

An evening that was filled with constant laughs, tears of joy, and relief. The love was audible and palpable. Proposals are always so much fun to plan and shoot. Although you’re 99.99% sure what the answer will be, it’s the “how” that’s unnerving and exciting at the same time.

And despite all the scouting and planning, it still might not go according to plan. So you pivot and you remember this isn’t about capturing the most stunning backdrop but more so capturing the essence of the moment. And that can happen if you pay attention to the subjects rather than trying to control every little detail.
