For years, Maggie has been family, comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. As we prepare to say goodbye Tuesday, we celebrate a life that was deeply loved and a bond that will never be broken.

This has been sitting on my mind a lot lately. I really believe in giving back where you can, not just taking up space in a community but actually pouring into it.

I’m open for affordable photography sessions for anyone who’s been wanting photos but can’t justify the usual prices right now. Nothing fancy, nothing out of reach. Just real people, real moments, and something meaningful on both sides.

I’m trying to grow this into something that’s built on connection more than anything. I don’t want this to just be about bookings and numbers. I want to meet people, work with people, and create images that actually feel like something.

A little about me, I’m a photographer who’s really drawn to natural light, real emotion, and the in between moments people usually miss. I care more about how something feels than how perfect it looks.

I keep my photography affordable because I know not everyone has hundreds to drop on pictures. Some of the best moments in life deserve to be captured too, not just the people who can afford luxury pricing. I love working with real people, real families, animals, messy kids, wild laughs, newborn snuggles, golden hour chaos, all of it.

My goal has never been to overcharge people. I just genuinely love freezing moments that people will look back on years from now. I try to keep my prices low, work with budgets when I can, and sometimes even do free sessions for families going through hard times.

Spring is finally here and I’m ready for it 🌿☀️

I wasn’t trying to make something pretty here.

I wanted to catch what people usually miss.

There’s a split second where someone drops whatever they’re holding up for the world, and it’s just… them. No posing, no forcing it. Just existing in whatever they’re carrying.

That’s what this feels like to me.

Not sadness. Not even weakness. Just real. A little distant, a little heavy, but grounded at the same time.

Some photos don’t need explaining. You either feel it or you don’t.

Took a few photos of Rowan and his momma today. He did such a good job. We wrapped up a little early though because the snow was definitely not his thing today.

Here is an update on Rowan! His mother wrote, “You may remember Prince Rowan SageMoon from our autumn photos with Michelle! He loves taking pictures, but he hates cold wet toes. He is now 1 & 1/2 years old and doing well! He gets his kidneys checked every couple months, and his most recent blood work has shown some improvement with mostly diet modifications and becoming an adult, which is a relief! They will never be normal, but at least they are at a new low starting point. He's still a spunky youngster who loves to get into trouble when opportunity arises, but is of course a bonafide very good boy! And he is so loved ❤️🐾”

What most people don’t see is the fight her body is in every day.

Chronic illness doesn’t always look like a hospital bed. Sometimes it looks like someone standing right in front of you, smiling, existing, trying to live normally while their body is doing everything it can to keep going.

Strength isn’t loud most of the time.
Sometimes it’s just surviving another day.
