Realove Photography

Realove Photography Realove is about the love that drives our life's passion. Also, encouragement from life stories and helpful tidbits.

Photography is the only thing that makes any sense to me, it's the one thing I find fascinating; to capture a moment to be kept for the future to see the history of life. realove photography is all about the depth within the photograph, the love shared and expressed, it's for those who have a passion and want it to be recorded and bragged about whether it is your hot new trending band, a baby's t

iny hand clasped around an aunt's finger, or for those in need to promote their business new or old. Whatever the passion, your love and dedication I will capture because it is what makes your life brighten, why not express it out loud with a few photographs?

It's What Jesus Does With the Pieces.

For years I thought my testimony was my pain.

I thought my story was about anxiety, fear, procrastination, self-doubt, and all the reasons I couldn't move forward. Like the man at Bethesda (John 5:2-9), I sat beside my own pool, hoping something in this world would finally change me. I waited for the right opportunity, the right feeling, the right moment, believing that if life would just shift a little, I could finally become the person God created me to be.

But I was looking to the water in hope.

Jesus was standing beside me.

The pool became my distraction. It became the place where I rehearsed my excuses instead of responding to Christ's invitation.

Then Jesus asked a question that still echoes today:

"Do you want to be made well?"

He wasn't asking if I wanted my circumstances to change.

He was asking whether I was willing to trust Him enough to leave the place where I had become comfortable in my sorrow.

Because healing requires movement.

Not movement toward the pool.

Movement toward Christ.

I realized my testimony was never supposed to magnify the years I spent sitting beside the water. My testimony was always meant to magnify the Savior who took my hand and led me away from it.

The world says to keep revisiting your brokenness.

Jesus says, "Rise."

The world tells us to define ourselves by what happened to us.

Jesus gives us a new identity, a new mindset, and freedom.

The world teaches us to keep searching for another pool.

Jesus says, "I am the Living Water."

The timid, fearful version of me wanted to stay where it felt familiar. But courage is not something I found within myself. Courage began the moment I trusted the One who was calling me to stand.

That is what fruit looks like.

Fruit is not pretending we were never broken.

Fruit is what grows after we place every broken piece into the hands of the Master.

A testimony is not about what broke you.

A testimony is about what Jesus did with the pieces.

I don't want people to remember the girl who sat beside the pool.

I want them to see the woman who took the hand of Christ and took up her cross.

Because the water never changed me.

Jesus did.

I'm gonna walk with Jesus, that's what my Dad believed in, to walk like Jesus. A conversation we had a few weeks before God took him home. With love and haste I asked my dad if he knew Jesus. He smiled and shook his head, "Stephanie Beth," he said insulted. "Your brother's are the ones who need Jesus." I smiled.

He told me later that day, (because if you know my dad he was, "always thinking"), "You know, the one thing I liked about Jesus is that He didn't turn anyone away, sick, hurt, the leapers, He went up to them and touched them even though they were contagious. I went to Parochial School and learned these things from Jesus and I thought, I liked that, and made it my life's goal to do the same."

And my Dad did. At his funeral, which was a suprising turn out, a packed house, of people my Dad impacted, through giving them chances, who he brought out of addictions, and loved, taking them under his wing and helped. He celebrated people's birthday's with cake and a card of love. He showed people love, understanding, and always showed them their worth.

That is something I carry in my heart, to walk with Jesus as my Dad had in his heart.

Happy birthday Christopher!

Happy Birthday to my incredible husband 🤍

You are truly one of a kind with a heart so full of love that it overflows onto everyone around you. You have this amazing way of lifting people up, making them feel seen, valued, and confident. That kind of love is rare, and I know it comes straight from Jesus shining through you.

You give so much of yourself every single day, and I’m endlessly grateful for you. You encourage me when I need it most, remind me of my worth, and fill my life with laughter and peace. Being loved by you is such a blessing.

Today, we celebrate you—the man with the biggest heart, the strongest spirit, and the kindest soul. I love you more than words can ever express.

Happy Birthday, my love 🎉
