My last trip to Nashville I found this old Rock City barn near the Kentucky border. I had never seen it before and the lighting was rough, it was dusk and would have been a beautiful sunset shot, but I just had b&w film with me. lol.

I love getting to travel around the South and work on preserving what I can through photographs. One of the coolest places that I've gotten to go is Old Car City USA down in White, GA. It's the oldest junkyard in America and it has over 7 miles of trails. Over the years a lot of people have asked me about some of the car photographs that I've taken and most of them I've photographed here over many trips down. I took this shot on my most recent trip down there last year on Kodak Tri X film. I definitely recommend checking it out for a day trip.

"Wonderland" 2026

This weekend I was out of town and stopped in a local antique store. My wife pointed out this raggedy old stuffed bunny and was like 'you need this.' Ahahaha. So here it is happily home in the still life studio with all my other weird stuff.

I've observed this church from the interstate for years and I've wanted to go photograph it. It was on a backroad but visible from the interstate and I was always just going, going, going and never took the time. This week I took a day to go out exploring and finding that church was my first stop. I'd always seen it from the back, but seeing it from the front was awesome! I've got several really cool shots that I'll be sharing soon.

"Nothing can stop....The Blob."
This such such a cool experience! When I was in Pennsylvania last year I made a point to go over the Phoenixville and see the Colonial Theatre where the big movie scene was filmed for the Steve McQueen classic, "The Blob." It was closed at the time but one of the employees let us into the lobby and let us check it out inside. I was ecstatic!
