Wrapping up Kaylee's Porchfest branding session with one last set. ✨

I love how different these feel from the first location. The bold lines, the mix of color and black-and-white, the playful moments right alongside the dramatic ones- it gave us so much room to experiment and create.

One of my favorite parts of these kinds of shoots is that there's no pressure to have everything planned out. We bounce ideas off each other, try something that sounds fun, and sometimes those end up being everyone's favorite photos.

That's one of the reasons I've been loving branding sessions so much lately. They sit right in the middle of everything I enjoy about photography. I still get to capture genuine personality like I do at live shows, but I also get to slow down, be creative, and build images that really match someone's style and vibe.

Little business milestone today. 🪿📸

I finally made business cards for Serious Goose Studios!

I've been wanting to get these for a while because I've started spending more time at local concerts, community events, and around Chattanooga meeting new people and building connections. Now I won't have to awkwardly spell out my Instagram or email every time someone asks. 😅

Before Porchfest kicked off, my lil creative crew and I spent the morning exploring Southside, looking for spots that felt interesting and fit the vision we had in mind. When we found this staircase and all of this beautiful brickwork, we knew we had to use it for the first location.

I love how these images turned out. The soft blue dress against the old brick, the mix of playful and dramatic moments, the way the architecture naturally framed the shots- it all came together exactly the way I'd hoped.

Live music photography will probably always be my first love, but I've been having so much fun with these branding and marketing sessions too. They feel like the perfect mix of storytelling and creativity. Instead of capturing a moment as it happens, you get to build one together.

This was only my third branding-focused shoot, but I'm really enjoying the process of finding locations, chasing a vibe, and creating images that feel true to the person in front of my camera. Photography isn't just about taking photos- it's about creating an experience and building images that feel authentically you.

✨Kaylee Rice at Southside Porchfest ✨

Last Saturday I had the chance to photograph the incredibly talented Kaylee Rice during Southside Porchfest, and it was an absolute blast.

There is something magical about photographing live music. Every song creates a different expression, a different movement, a different moment that exists for only a few seconds before it's gone. The emotion, the energy, the connection between an artist and their audience—those are the moments I love chasing with my camera.

That's what keeps bringing me back.

Kaylee's set was full of those moments, and I had such a great time capturing them. After her performance, we also spent some time creating marketing and promotional photos together, so keep an eye out for those in the coming weeks!

Southside Porchfest continues to be one of Chattanooga's coolest community events, bringing local musicians, artists, and neighbors together through live music and creativity. There's something special about hearing music spill out across the neighborhood on a summer afternoon.

Mother's Day felt like the perfect excuse to slow down and capture the people who make a family feel like home.

These photos are full of the little moments that matter most- shared smiles, genuine laughter, and the kind of love that deserves to be remembered.

Sessions like this remind me why I love family photography so much. These are the kind of images that become more meaningful with every passing year.

Color tells the full story- the lights, the environment, the energy of the room.

Final preview from the Walker & Sells Creative Co!

This set really brought everything together. After moving through different locations, styles, and ideas, this felt like a moment to pause and let the images speak for the whole vision.

I’m really proud of what we created together. Shoots like this are a reminder of how much can come from collaboration, trust, and a willingness to try something new.

Grateful to have been part of bringing this to life!
