its almost impossible to miss focus with this set up… here’s exactly how i set up my canon r6 mark ii AF so i have flexibility and accuracy while shooting. no more waiting for my camera to dance around the frame looking for focus✨ now if im not snapping pictures of people, i can tap or use the joystick to place my spot focus on the subject and use the * to hold it there and track it. perfect for wedding days where you need a mix of decor and details and people or content shoots.

im so happy that my last reel was able to help so many photographers, but i know videos aren’t the best format sometimes. so for those of you who need it broken down and to go at your own pace, heres a walk through!

my favorite people graduated from northwestern and i flew to chicago to take their grad photos back in june. then summer happened and they sat in a folder for four months. they deserve better than a folder i mean cmon, they’re beauties💜

this bff grad session included lots of laughs, multiple ch*****ne takes (including me getting a ch*****ne shower behind the camera), and of course hitting a scuba or two🕺

it’s been one year since i was laid off from my engineering job... so let’s celebrate 🥳

a bit of a longer video (i sped it up a tiny bit for yall), but reflecting on the past year has me feeling sentimental. i am so blessed and grateful for the opportunities that have come my way this past year and the lessons i have learned. the people i have met, the clients i have worked with, and the support i have felt is the greatest gift of them all. i hope that EMB creating continues to grow and give seniors, couples in love, entrepreneurs and small businesses the photos and content that they deserve🫶🏻.

turning down an unfamiliar path is scary, but there is so much beauty and value yet to be uncovered. here’s to chasing passions💖🥂

this was one of those moments that you can’t plan for but also couldn’t have planned to go better. the yellow trees and yellow dress, the natural soft smiles. THIS is what i live to capture.
