I’m a luxury wedding and family photographer with a fine art background. I’m a wedding and family photographer based in North Carolina.

I have a fine art background, and found my love for photography while studying art history in Italy capturing spaces and scenery. Today I focus on photographing people and the ones they love. My photography aesthetic is artful and classic, and authentically captures the feelings of the day. I obsess over editing my photos using true-to-life tones to create imagery that is timeless and tasteful, an

d can be printed to display in your home. I often photograph people at exciting and pivotal times in their lives, and realize that even the happiest moments can be stress-inducing. I believe that we inherit the energy of those around us, and I bring a calming energy to every wedding day. I have been described by my clients as being thoughtful, empathetic, and patient.

“Our love is sweet, honest, and unceasing” is what Katie said in her inquiry email to photograph her marriage to Francesca. On Jan 3, they got married at the courthouse and I had the honor of documenting the event. Despite the brutally cold and windy day, there was a warmth of joy. A small party with family afterwards, and a larger party to come in May. Happy to know this crew, and honored to be trusted to photograph their love.

My Featured Artist photography show opens at Carolina Fine Art a week from today!

On display will be a collection of 18 limited edition fine art prints that I’ve taken in Yellowstone National Park, Montana, NYC, Cape Cod, and France, captured mostly on medium format and 35mm film.

The opening reception is Friday, Jan 3 from 5-8pm, but the show will be up and the pieces will be available through the month of January. I hope to see you there!
