Should I add Studio maternity to my portrait session offerings? YES YES YES!!! No need to worry about weather, wind, bugs, sweating or shivering. Many times, a maternity session may not fall in an ideal time of year. It may be hot and humid, or windy and freezing. I have done it all! A studio session is a great option for my Moms who want beautiful photos in a controlled environment.

I’m editing so many sessions this week. I am working on this little guy’s photos and had to share this one! I love the simplicity of it. Just wide awake baby, wiggle his arms and legs. These photos are actually tough to get. The baby is moving their head, arms, legs, and to get a baby to look towards my camera is just luck! Also, a wide awake baby is not happy long. Shortly after this, he started to get fussy, so I swaddled him up and we continued with the session.

Now booking fall due dates! Do not wait till the baby is here to book your session. These photos take planning!
