This is my favorite thing we do all year 💛

The IMPACT Award was created to celebrate something that matters deeply to me…the way people choose to show up for others.

Kindness. Integrity. Service. Love. Joy.

These are the values behind this award, and after reading through all of your nominations, I can confidently say… this community is filled with some truly incredible teens.

Every single nominee was so deserving, and it was clear how much good is being done in big ways and small ones…through friendships, leadership, and the way they treat the people around them.

It’s time!!

IMPACT Award nominations are officially OPEN
(April 13–16)

This is my favorite thing we do all year—getting to celebrate the seniors who are making a difference in the lives of others.
The ones who show up
who include others
who lead with kindness in the everyday moments
And most of the time… they don’t even realize the impact they’re making.

Two years ago, we introduced the IMPACT Award, and because of this incredible community, it became something even more meaningful than I could have imagined.
You showed up in the best way, through hundreds of nominations, votes, and shares.
The stories that came in, the encouragement, and the way y’all rallied around each nominee was truly something special.

And after seeing just how powerful that was… it became really clear. The seniors are where this community is having the biggest impact, and there are simply too many incredible seniors to choose just one.

So this year, we’re leaning into that
Instead of recognizing one senior and one small business owner, we’ll be celebrating TWO outstanding rising seniors (Class of 2027)

Because this award is about more than photos.
It’s about celebrating who they are and the impact they’re making through kindness, integrity, service, love, and joy.

A few months ago, so many of you showed up in such a meaningful way.

You nominated.
You voted.
You shared.

And because of that, Regan was chosen as this year’s Live Oaks Photography IMPACT Award winner.

But what you may not have fully seen… is the story behind your choice.

Just four days before her freshman year, Regan’s life changed in an instant. And the way she walked through it—with strength, faith, and quiet resilience—ended up impacting far more people than she ever realized.

I interviewed Regan and her family after her session and one thing stood out so clearly:

“I don't think I really realized the impact I've had on people, but winning the award and seeing the support from every person who commented or voted for me brought that to light.” -Regan Wiley

That moment—that realization—is exactly why this award exists.

Not for popularity.
Not for recognition.

But to reflect back to someone:
you matter… and the way you live your life is making a difference.

Her session was beautiful, yes, but more than that, it was meaningful.

It was about confidence.
About healing.
And about seeing herself the way so many others already did.
