This past weekend, "Mia" Cake was hired to bring the bakery trailer to a golf tournament at Old North State Club on Badin Lake. While I was there, got some pictures from the area. Since the lake is so far down, I edited them to show them as close to normal as possible. Thank you to the club for having us both there. ~ Michael

I was scanning some of the older photos in that I shared the other day and found an email from my mom that originated from Paul Hinkle that included 2 photos from the Old Whitney area in 1956 where the water was lower than it as in 2003. The email identifies the 3 boys in the second photo (left to right) as Paul Hinkle, Bill Howell, and John Clark. The rest of the photos are from 2003 when the water was down.
