2024 was an eventful year. I met many wonderful people and captured beautiful moments from proposals to vow renewals, business owners to family fun. I will forever be grateful to have spent so many years with Pretty Place Chapel as my backyard. It provided many opportunities for my business and a gorgeous backdrop for raising my kids.

The year ended with our family relocating to King, NC where my husband has stepped into an Executive Director role at a summer camp. While I look forward to the adventures ahead in our new home, I will miss the mountains deeply!

I will continue growing in my photography, but for a time I will be taking a small step back in order to focus on settling our family into our new home. If you're in the King or Winston-Salem area and need a photographer, please reach out! When Robby proposed to Rebecca at Pretty Place, we had no idea the amount of destruction Hurricane Helene would bring to the Chapel the very next day. This sweet couple wasn't deterred by the fog... they were all smiles and glowing happiness! They were the perfect couple to photograph and may have been the very last couple to get engaged at the Chapel until it can be opened to visitors in 2025!

The Northern Lights at Pretty Place through the partially torn off roof. There is beauty to be found in the darkest of times.

Pretty Place Chapel is closed until further notice and is never open for nighttime visiting. I live onsite as I am married to a YMCA Camp Greenville staff member.

This fun-loving and beautiful family was such a blast to hang out with! Elf Leaf Farm was the perfect location to photograph the giggles, dogpiles and foot races through the rows of lavender.
