So I was sitting around thinking of ways I could really agitate and rile all the people who belong to epiphone modding groups yesterday and decided to do a thing.....

In all honesty, this was based on my desire to be able to more easily each the 15th+ frets like on my Sire L7. I think it came out well, still might sand the dating poly off and dye the exposed wood blue and reseal it, but for now Im happy with the result.

Took Sheldon and his friends Jackson to Carowinds tonight and they had a blast! The park is stellar after dark!

Well the barncaster is finally complete. Had some fun putting it all together after 2 screws sheared in the neck pocket, but it all worked out. Now to put in some time playing!

Body: Reclaimed cedar and nitrogen finish
Neck: Wenge neck off eBay
Pickups: Wilkinson vintage with tone control only wired for bridge
Bridge: Wilkinson compensated vintage style
Tuners: Guyker vintage locking

And so it begins....Cant wait to hear this new barncaster build! Wenge neck, reclaimed cedar body, and vintage inspired ...
