🌿 The memories your kids will actually WANT to keep.

Swipe to see what a real organized memory archive looks like — and what becomes possible when it exists.

Ten years from now, one of two things will be true:

❌ "We have photos somewhere…"
✅ "We look at these every year."

The difference isn't how many photos you took. It's whether those photos have a home — a system — something you can return to together.

Imagine: a labeled digital album from every summer. A yearly photo book sitting on a shelf. Your kids at 8, at 11, at 15 — all of it accessible, searchable, shareable. Not buried. Not lost. Not "somewhere on an old hard drive."

That's not just organization, that's a family tradition. A way of holding onto your life as it's happening and a legacy your kids will actually inherit.

💬 What's one summer memory you hope your kids never forget? Tell me below. 👇

📼 What to do with old summer memories — before they're gone for good!

Swipe to see what's hiding in your closets, attics, and storage bins right now. Old photo boxes. VHS tapes. Mini camcorder cassettes. Disposable cameras that never got developed. Printed albums with fading color. Home videos that no one has watched in 20 years.

These aren't just clutter — they're your family's story and they have a shelf life.

Here's what most people don't realize: digitizing without organizing is still chaos. You just now have digital chaos instead of physical chaos. 😅

The real work is in what happens after the scan:
✔️ Files properly named and dated
✔️ Folders structured so you can actually find things
✔️ Albums built that your family will return to

That's the difference between preservation and transformation. Preservation isn't just saving — it's “future proofing.” 💛

📩 DM me "DIGITIZE" and let's talk about what you have hiding at home.

🗂️ The 3-step Summer Save system — swipe to simplify your whole summer!

Summer moves fast. But with one simple, repeatable system, your memories don't have to disappear into the chaos.

Here's what I teach every client:
1️⃣ Capture intentionally. When someone offers to grab a group shot — gently ask them to take exactly 5 photos. Not 2, not 20. Five. You'll thank yourself later when you're not culling through 47 nearly identical shots trying to find the one.
2️⃣ Consolidate weekly. One album per week or per trip. Label it. Done. This INCLUDES Shared Albums!
3️⃣ Back up automatically. Cloud AND external. Both. Always.
🔁 Pro tip: Set a Sunday night reminder on your phone — delete what you don't need, restart your device, and back everything up. 10 minutes. Every week. That's your system.

Less clutter. More presence. More peace of mind. Give your summer a place to live!! 🌅✨ Summer Saves by SMP — a full-service memory system built around your real life. Easy enough, right?

💬 Tell me: are you a "save everything" person or a "constantly deleting" person? Drop it below👇and tag someone who needs to do this with you!

📸 The photos you take this summer are at risk…and you don't even realize it.

Graduation parties every weekend. Family vacations. Sports, camps, photos texted from coaches and other parents. You're capturing everything… and quietly losing it all at the same time.

Phones fill up. Phones break. IT FALLS IN THE OCEAN. iCloud hits its limit. Nothing is labeled. Nothing is backed up. And before you know it, the summer that mattered most is buried somewhere in a camera roll you'll never scroll back through.

Here's a quick habit that takes 5 minutes and changes everything: every Sunday night, go back through your phone and delete the screenshots, blurry shots, and duplicates you don't need. Make it a ritual. A fresh start for the week ahead.

Because here's the truth: if it's not organized, it's not really saved. 📂 Good intentions don't protect memories. Systems do!

✨ Summer Saves in May by SMP is here to help — photo consolidation, scanning + digitizing, archive setup, and a memory system that works for your real life, all month long!

Starting over is way harder than I expected. 🫠

When you’ve done something for a long time, you get used to being good at it. You know how things work. You can move fast. Then you switch directions and suddenly everything feels slower and a little clunky…

That’s been my experience moving from photography into organizing and digital preservation. I’ve had to rethink how I do things, how I structure my time, how I help people. And there are definitely moments where I feel like I took a step back.

But I also know this is part of it: In golf, if your swing is off, sometimes you have to fully break it down and rebuild it. And when you do that, you usually get worse before you get better.

That’s kind of where I’ve been. Not worse in a bad way—just in a rebuilding way.

If you’re in a season like that, where things feel slower or less polished than they used to, it doesn’t mean you made the wrong move. It probably just means you’re in the middle of figuring something out! Keep going.

One thing I’ve always liked about golf is that you can’t really blame anyone else! 😆 You can have a bad round and it is ALL on you.

And I think running a business feels like that too. It’s really easy to look around and feel behind. Someone is always posting more, growing faster, doing something better. If you stay focused on that, it’ll mess with you.

The only thing that’s actually helpful is paying attention to your own progress:
▶️ Am I more clear than I was a few months ago?
▶️ Am I working in a way that feels better than before?
▶️ Am I building something that actually fits my life?

That’s it.

You’re not really competing with anyone else. It just feels like you are. At the end of the day, it’s you vs. you, baby!

A funny thing happened when we named our son… we made sure it would sound good on The Masters leaderboard.

Golf has been woven through every chapter of my life.

My earliest memories are riding in the golf cart while my dad played. I didn’t care about the game yet—I just wanted to drive. And somehow… that was allowed.

In college, I spent a lot of time around the golf team—one of those players being my future husband, Brennen (though we didn’t know it yet… that came 13 years later). I loved the team, the energy, their coach. After meeting me one night, he told Brennen, “If you don’t marry that girl, you’re stupid.”
Turns out… he listened.

During college I started playing. I even took a solo trip to Scottsdale to learn the fundamentals. But after graduation, life picked up speed and golf faded into the background.

Still, I noticed something. I kept finding my way back to people who loved the game.

Years later, Brennen proposed on the 10th hole of our course. We were talking about the future when he said, “Won’t it be great to have kids grow up playing golf?” Then he looked at me and said, “But you have to be Mrs. King for that to happen.”
Before I could process it, he was on one knee, ring box in hand. “Will you marry me?”
I cried. Of course.

Three years later, Miller was born. And as soon as he could walk… he was swinging a club.

When we chose his name, we picked family names—but we had one final test. We said it out loud, making sure it would sound right on TV.
“Miller King… now approaching Amen Corner.”

Now, watching him love the game is one of the greatest gifts of my life.

Golf is one of those rare forever sports. It connects generations. Some of the strongest bonds and friendships are built walking a fairway together.

It teaches you more than how to play. There are far more losses than wins. Patience matters. Discipline matters. And who you play with matters most.

I still tear up watching someone win, knowing what it took to get there.

With The Masters around the corner, I’m reminded that sometimes the dreams we casually say out loud… become the life we’re living.

And sometimes, it all starts with a simple game of golf.

Before it became my workspace, this table was the center of my grandmother’s home — holding holiday dinners, silver goblets, and our entire family gathered around it. 🕯️🍽️💐

It’s the table I inherited from my grandmother, Pat Jennings. It was always the center of our family gatherings. Every holiday, the table was filled with food, sterling serving pieces and silver goblets. It’s where everyone came together.

When she passed, the table came to my home because I was the only one with a dining room big enough to hold it. Now it serves a different purpose.

It’s where I sit and work on legacy projects for other families. Sorting photographs. Organizing archives. Carefully piecing together stories that will continue for the next generation 📸

I still entertain at this table, but more often it has boxes of photos and albums spread across it. Sometimes I can’t help but feel like my grandmother is looking down, proud that the table that once held our family’s memories is now helping preserve the memories of others 🤍

A client said something to me recently that stuck with me. 💭

“I would have never mailed my family photos to a company. I’ve put this project off for years until I heard what you do.” And I understood exactly what they meant.

These aren’t just photos or film reels or documents. They are often the only copies a family has. The last physical connection to people and moments that can never be recreated 📷

That’s why I work differently.
You can call me.
You can ask questions.
You can speak directly to the person handling your materials

I personally handle every item with care and intention. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is treated like inventory. TRUST is the foundation of this work 🤝

Because when someone hands you their family history, they are really handing you something much bigger than a project.

Most people think digitizing photos is about scanners and files. It’s not.

When a family entrusts me with their history, the first thing I do is start learning the story behind it. Who is who. How everyone is connected. The important dates. The places. The moments that mattered. It becomes a puzzle 🧩

In order to organize a collection, name files properly and build a true chronological archive, I have to understand the family itself. The relationships, the generations, the context. Digitizing is the technical step 💻

Understanding the story is the real work. That’s how a collection becomes something future generations can actually navigate, understand and appreciate.

Legacy is not just about preserving objects. It’s about preserving relationships 🤍
