Celebrating another first for me!

And no, it's not turning 30 like Taylor. 😉

Believe it or not, in my 5 years in business, I’ve never held mini-sessions.

What changed my mind?

The Daylight Room! A modern, minimal studio in Plaza Midwood.

These mini-sessions are pretty much a gift to myself or an excuse to get inside the gorgeously curated space - however you want to look at it.

When I said this to a group of entrepreneurs the first time

That scene where the audience pelts tomatoes at the person on stage was running through my head.

Yeah...that didn’t happen.

Instead I kept talking and shared all about how I spent years letting my ideal client dictate every decision I made inside my business.

I can tell you first hand, self-fulfillment is NOT on the other side of that method.

Your brand is your home - you are the one who has to live inside it, not your ideal client. They just come over for visits.

So when you are out there chasing that big, scary dream remember you matter and the personal brand you create must
Serve you first and your ideal client second.

It’s all in the showing up. 🙌

When Sharese suggested getting together to help each other make video for social

I went straight into flight mode - hide under the covers style. 🏃‍ 💨

I pulled back, took some time to think:

🔅Yes, it will feel awkward - like saying your elevator pitch to a room full of successful 7-figure business owners level awkward.

🔅Yes, it will take up time that seems ever fleeting.

🔅YES, it is a necessary uncomfortable to get where I want to go.

I crawled my way out from under the covers and into fight mode.

We showed up for each other.

We showed up for ourselves.

All because we decided the uncomfortable was worth the reward.

I’m so proud of these ladies! 🎉
