I shared these fun pics from our Christmas card this year over on our new account today!! We are so excited for our new adventure, and while I’ll still be posting a few things here from time to time as I wrap up my winter sessions, I’m transitioning into getting our new business up and running over the next 6 weeks and will mostly be posting our journey over there!! I’d love to have you follow along!!

AND while I’m at it can I just say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support for my photography business over the last 17 years! It’s bittersweet to think I won’t be capturing families, weddings, friends, babies, kiddos, seniors, companies, events and everything in between anymore. Having the most memorable magical week here in FL! We decide to surprise the girls with an early Christmas present to Disney and Universal (the best time to come before the Holiday crowds get too crazy!!) I one hundred percent subscribe to memories over more and more toys as gifts and this quick little trip has been exactly that!! So fun to have my mom join us as well!! My little beauty 💕❤️💕❤️ Last week, while looking at her self up really closely in the mirror she said “Mommy I love my freckles so much. They are just so cute.” YES!!! Yes they are!! I can’t even tell you how happy her positive self-talk made me. I grew up absolutely hating my freckles and was super self-conscious about how blotchy it made my skin seem. I grew out of that and have tried to change the narrative with her adorable “angel kisses”. She loves them. So do I 🥰

So incredibly grateful for all those that serve and have served... especially this guy right here, my Grandpa Mackay (yes he’s on Instagram 🥰!) At 95, he truly is one of the last few living WWII Veterans. His stories are unbelievable. A few years ago our family had the chance to join him in DC during the Utah Honor Flight (where WWII Vets had the opportunity to experience war memorials built in their honor.) It’s something Blake and I and all 4 of my kiddos will always remember. Hoping to instill in them a deep gratitude for those that sacrifice so much and sometimes everything so we can be free. 🇺🇸❤️💙❤️🇺🇸

Happy Sunday! If you caught my stories last weekend I shared a few photos from this gorgeous session I shot in a historic dance studio in downtown Mathews, NC. How far would you drive for last minute $10 FRONT ROW Hamilton Lottery Tickets?!! It’s Jacksonville for us! 5.5 hours flew by last Saturday with this fun crew! Happy 16th Birthday Braden!!! I’m in flat out denial that I have a 16 year-I mean I still remember every detail of my own 16th birthday and it doesn’t seem like it was that long ago! (It was 😅). Also, busting out all the baby pics brought a flood of emotions and that seems like it was just yesterday too! Whew. All sorts of emotions today! But we did have a great day celebrating the one we all look up too (literally-he’s 6’3” and still growing!!) The one that keeps us on our toes, Our I.T. guy that can solve any problem and figure out any solution, brings the fun, has a tender heart, is an awesome athlete and a great brother! The one that made me a mom exactly 16 years ago 🥺. Love you so much Braden! Here’s to an amazing year!!
