This is why I do what I do.

25 years ago, her wedding was captured on a VHS tape.
And like so many families, it sat tucked away unwatched, but never forgotten.

Recently, I had the privilege of digitizing her wedding video… and helped her reconnect with that day,

Now, instead of being stuck on an aging tape, those memories can be shared with her children and enjoyed for years to come.

Here’s the part many people don’t realize:
VHS and camcorder tapes are magnetic and they don’t last forever.
They fade. They deteriorate. And eventually, they can become unplayable.

Every box of tapes holds memories.
Moments worth saving.

Don’t wait until they’re gone.

Today I celebrate my mom’s birthday. She’s been gone since 2014, and I miss her every single day.

April 30th will always be a special day for me because it’s your birthday. Though you’ve been gone since 2014, not a day goes by that I don’t miss you terribly.

You raised me up in every way possible, teaching me, loving me, and shaping me into the person I am today. Your laughter, your kindness, and the love you poured into our family will never be forgotten.

Today, I celebrate you with memories; each photo is a reminder of the life you lived. I would give anything for one more hug, one more conversation, one more moment. But until then, I’ll hold onto the memories and the love that will never fade.
