Maternity session | most couples expecting their first baby haven’t had photos since their wedding… it’s basically the same thing over except now we are framing the bump and I’m getting a few more solo shots of mama 😉

It’s also a great way for you get to know your photographer before newborn photos. That’s important because often, this will be someone who is among the first to meet your new baby. You also will get a cohesive collection of photos to add to a baby book or frame in the nursery. ❤️

Panty hose helps overlay a fine texture over the image and lowers the contrast on image straight in your camera.
NOTES:
📝I don’t use this on every photo in the gallery.

📝It also has to be the right lighting scenario—it is best used in full sun or in a high contrast setting!

📝You can also bring back some contrast with the contrast (or dehaze) slider in Lightroom.

Simple picnic sessions will always be my fave! This session was HOT 🥵 but you wouldn’t be able to tell- if you’re thinking of booking for outdoor this summer, I’d suggest at 8:30am session, 8pm session or incorporating water 💦 (like my creek sessions 🤗). Backyard sessions will also be available (think bbq, pizza, sprinklers, popsicles!)
