Some things just can’t be seen by the naked eye. In this instance a drone with a thermal sensor (camera) is able to show areas of potential damage or future spots of damage in a low slope roof system. With an aerial view of this roof we can pinpoint “hotspots” of potential water intrusion based on the temperatures of areas surrounding point of roof pe*******on. Areas such as vent pipes that may have not been sealed correctly, spots of the roof that are directly above a machine in a building that could be causing unseen damage to the integrity of the roof or even areas of poor to no water drainage after a day or few of rain.
