I’m not a big fan of having photos made of myself. I know… ironic isn’t it?!? But

I’ve been on discovery for different ways to overcome my “in-front-of-camera-nerves”.

Check out these two practicals:

1. Make sure you let your photographer get to know you as much as you know them. This helps us as photographers figure out poses and conversation that makes you not even notice the camera.

2. You get out of it what you put in. If you’re expecting great photos like all of the inspiration you’ve seen on Pinterest or Instagram, then you will need to step outside your comfort zone and take a chance, have fun, and let your photographer do their thing.

I promise you, your photographer (myself included) wants to be able to provide you with the best experience possible.

Remember, taking photos is a fun moment. Let your family be captured acting like themselves. Let your children play and run. Let yourself not even worry about what your hair looks like or how your clothes are fixed. We’ve (photographers everywhere) got you covered!!!
