A strong tip is to focus on helping clients wear clothing that complements them rather than distracts from them.

Photography Tip: What to Wear for Your Photoshoot

✨ Wear your confidence—but dress for timeless photos.

Here are a few simple guidelines:

* 👕 Choose solid colors or subtle patterns. They photograph better and keep the focus on you.
* 🎨 Coordinate, don’t match. If you’re taking family or couple photos, choose colors that complement each other instead of everyone wearing the exact same outfit.
* 💍 Keep accessories simple. A few statement pieces are great, but too many can become distracting.
* 👟 Wear comfortable shoes. If we’ll be walking to different locations, bring a comfortable pair and change into dress shoes when it’s time to shoot.
* ✨ Avoid clothing with large logos, graphics, or busy prints. These can date your photos and pull attention away from your face.
* 👗 Bring one backup outfit. If your package allows outfit changes, having a second look adds variety to your gallery.
