This session has such a special story behind it.
I was at a location photographing mini sessions when I spotted two adorable couples taking photos together. Grandma was behind the iPhone, doing her best to capture the moment, and I found myself smiling as I watched them. They were celebrating something so exciting.. both couples were expecting babies around the same time.
I had a little break in my schedule, so I walked over and asked if they’d like me to snap a few photos for them. What started as a quick interaction turned into one of those moments that reminded me why I love photography so much.
For me, photography has never just been about taking pictures. It’s about people. It’s about the stories, the connections, the milestones, and the privilege of stepping into someone’s life for a moment and helping preserve a memory they’ll never get back.
I may have only spent a few minutes with them, but I got to share in their excitement, celebrate alongside them, and give them something they’ll hopefully look back on years from now. That’s the part of photography I cherish most.. the people you meet, the stories you hear, and the moments that remind you how beautiful life can be. 🩵📷✨
