I’m opening Tree Farm Mini Sessions at Highfield Farms Christmas Trees in Eddington on Saturday, November 28.

These are short, relaxed sessions for updated photographs with your family, your partner, or the people who make this season yours.

$250 includes:

15 minutes together among the trees
5+ edited digital images
Personal print rights
Delivery within 7 to 10 days, no later than December 9

Dogs are welcome on a leash. Please clean up after them.

You do not need perfectly matching outfits or children who perform for the camera. Bring your people, and I will help with the rest.

Kara + Justin | Just Married!

One week ago, Kara and Justin were surrounded by their favorite people, celebrating the beginning of their next chapter together at the beautiful Grace on the Lake in Athens, Maine.

There is something so special about a wedding day filled with the people who know you best, love you fiercely, and are genuinely excited to celebrate alongside you. All the little moments, the laughter, the happy tears, and the joy of simply being together. Those are the memories that make a wedding day so meaningful.

Kara and Justin, thank you for trusting me to document this chapter of your story. I hope that every time you look back at these photographs, you're reminded not just of how beautiful your wedding day was, but how it felt.

Senior sessions should be about more than looking pretty and smiling for the camera. They're about celebrating who you are, embracing your personality, and making memories while we're at it.

Because sometimes the best photos happen when you stop worrying about the camera and just have FUN.

There are parts of a wedding day that will never make it onto a timeline.

A quiet exchange. An inside joke. A private surprise before the ceremony. The way someone looks when they realize, “This is really happening.”

Those are the moments I never want to become so comfortable in my craft that I stop noticing.

Every wedding teaches me something. Every couple challenges me to see a little differently, anticipate a little better, and tell their story more thoughtfully than I could the day before.

Because you’re not hiring me to recreate someone else’s wedding photos.

You’re trusting me to notice yours.

And I don’t take that lightly.

This feels a little surreal to share (and scary if I'm being honest.)

I was recently invited to be featured by VoyageRaleigh Magazine and had the chance to talk about the story behind Humble Sight Photography, how this business has grown, what I’ve learned along the way, and why helping people feel seen has become such an important part of the work I do.

Building a business has required a lot of learning, vulnerability, trust, and growth. It has also brought some incredible people into my life and given me opportunities I never could have imagined when I started.

I’m so grateful for every client, friend, fellow creative, business owner, and community member who has supported me, trusted me, referred me, encouraged me, or taught me something along the way. Humble Sight would not be what it is without all of you.

There’s something about watching a mom see her daughter’s senior album for the first time.

She’s already seen the photographs. She already knows what they look like.

But holding them is different.

Because suddenly, it isn’t just a collection of senior pictures. It’s her girl. Her personality. Who she is right now, in this tiny space between childhood and whatever comes next.

Senior year is filled with so many lasts, and I think sometimes we don’t realize just how quickly they’re happening until we’re already in the middle of them.

That’s one of the reasons I love creating albums for my seniors and their families.

Years from now, this won’t be a gallery buried somewhere on a phone or computer. It’ll be something they can pull off the shelf. Something her mom can hold again. Something she may someday show her own family.

Photographs preserve what someone looked like.

But the right photographs can also bring you right back to who they were.

And that is worth holding onto.
