creation | a spoken word

as someone who wears her heart on her sleeve, life can seem as if it is happening around me

there is no time to FEEL it all

but then I am reminded to just take a moment

breathe

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

psalm 46 is brought to mind

and that is when time stops

suddenly I am able to FEEL the presence of the Lord

YAHWEH

as if he is as near as the breath in my lungs

he IS the breath in my lungs

and now creation’s heartbeat is a pleasant, rhythmic tune

maybe even a still small whisper

guiding me as I continue to stumble through this thing called life
