Okay, mini season is coming 👀

I’ve got three more mini dates coming up, and returning clients are getting first dibs.

Emails with the dates and booking info will be going out to my returning clients today. After that, they’ll officially open to everyone Friday.

If you’re not a returning client but you want first dibs when they go public, drop your email below and I’ll make sure you get the info when they open.

And yes, we’re talking fall, pumpkins, quilts, and Christmas. Because apparently I’m already booking Christmas while it’s still hot outside. 😂

There’s something about photographing a family in their own home that just feels different. The nursery, the couch, Paisley making sure she’s included, and a brand new baby right in the middle of it all.

These are the moments you’ll want to remember. Not just how tiny he was, but what life looked like when your family was becoming a little bigger.

And honestly, every newborn session needs a photo of the family dog acting like they were invited to the entire production. 😂

POV: You finally got them out of the house and suddenly life is peaceful again.

Three kids. Three backpacks. Zero regrets.

I’m celebrating the return of quiet mornings, uninterrupted peace, and not hearing “MOM” every 14 seconds.

And to their teachers…good luck. May the coffee be plentiful, the patience be endless, and may they never discover how many times a day they can say “I’m bored.” 😂

Happy back to school from the woman who is absolutely thriving now that her coworkers have left the building.

This is what family photos are supposed to feel like. 😂

A little chaos, a lot of laughter, and absolutely no reason to stand still when you could be picking up your favorite tiny human instead.

I’ll take the real smiles, the giggles, the snuggles, and the moments that happen in between the poses every single time. Because years from now, I want you to remember what your family actually felt like, not just what you looked like standing in a line.

The Ogle family brought all the fun to their session, and I’m pretty sure this one says it all. 🤍

And honestly, Aileen didn’t seem to mind one bit.

There’s something about photographing a mom and her boy at the beach that just feels different. The little kisses, the way he stays tucked right into her, the absolute lack of concern for anything happening around them.

They were completely in their own little world, and I was lucky enough to get a front row seat.

Okay, if we’re going to be spending time together, you should probably know a little about the person behind the camera. 😜

Hi, I’m Hannah. The photographer behind Hannah Talbert Photography.

If you’re new here, I’m a lifestyle photographer based in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and I’m all about the moments that feel like you. The quiet ones, the messy ones, the wildly in love ones, and the ones you didn’t realize would mean so much until years later.

I photograph couples, maternity, newborns, families, seniors, bo***ir, and elopements. My goal has never been to make you look like everyone else. I want your photos to actually feel like your life.

A little about me: I’m a mom of four, so I know firsthand that life is not always Pinterest perfect. Sometimes someone is melting down, someone forgot their shoes, and somehow there’s a snack involved. 😂 I’m a Swiftie, a Star Wars nerd, a Carolina Panthers fan, and I can turn “I’m just checking Target real quick” into a full blown Pokémon hunt. I’m happiest somewhere between golden hour and yelling at the TV during football season.

I’m also probably going to be the photographer who tells you to stop worrying about how awkward you look, because I promise you’re not nearly as awkward as you think you are. I’ll give you direction when you need it, let you do your thing when you don’t, and probably make a dumb joke somewhere in between. I want you to actually enjoy being in front of my camera, not spend the whole session wondering what to do with your hands.

Because that’s the kind of experience I want to create. Comfortable. Fun. A little chaotic when necessary. And completely you.

I’ve been behind the camera for years, but I’m stepping into a new chapter with my business too. Less of what everyone expects a photographer to be. More of what feels like me.

So if you’re new around here, hi. I’m really glad you found me.

And if you’ve been here for a while, consider this your official reintroduction. Because apparently I’m incapable of staying in the same era for too long. 😂

I mean...if this isn’t the exact energy you hope for when your person finally walks back into your arms, I don’t know what is. The rest of the homecoming was happening around them, and they were completely in their own little world.
