Holly King. There was no one quite so special.

As many have expressed, Holly was exactly the kind of person we need more of in this world. She was kindness. She was love. She was perseverance. She was joy. When someone like Holly comes into your life, you are forever changed, and you are blessed.

Through mutual friends, I met Holly just once or twice. Years later, Aaron and I were given the unforgettable opportunity to photograph and film the marriage to her strong and gentle partner, Jude. Having documented hundreds of beautiful love stories over the last 13 years, I can confidently say that there is no love more powerful to me than that which I witnessed between Holly and Jude. Not only their love for each other, but also for everyone they encountered.

I remember October 5th, 2018 like it was yesterday, and I will never forget.

Some favorites from Lindsey and Dan's fall wedding at Upper Shirley Vineyards. Be sure to give an extra like for expert floofster and wedding mascot himself, Otto the golden retriever. He definitely attempted to steal the show, but nothing can top this stunning couple and their lovely friends.

Can you love mornings, but also hate waking up early? Hi, yes, it's me. I adore watching the sun rise and enjoying a slower start to my day, but it's also so hard to peel myself out of a cozy bed! However, I will always get up early for a sunrise session like this one - a private elopement shared between two sweet souls one pastel morning in Washington, DC.

If only you knew the sheer talent and luck that went into capturing this image. A fast-paced, twirl-heavy dance with Lindsey and her friend, ending with a spin send off over to her new husband, Dan, who caught, dipped and kissed her WHILE holding onto his espresso martini without a drop spilled.
