Maybe Peter Pan had a point.

Stepping into another era, another character, or another world isn't childish. It's a reminder that life is supposed to be fun. That imagination isn't something you outgrow—it's something you forget.

There's an old saying: "People fear what they don't understand and seek to destroy what they fear." For me, it's far more than an anecdote. It's one of those uncomfortable truths that keeps resurfacing whenever people encounter something that doesn't fit neatly into the little boxes they've prepared for the world. Rather than investigate, they condemn. Rather than understand, they assume. It's amazing how often ignorance arrives wearing the costume of certainty The AH-MAZING Kelly on HMU!!

There’s a lot of talk in photography about “rules” Neat boxes that a “good photo” has to fit into. Conversely one of my favorite compliments is being told my photos are “weird”. Weird is good. I like weird, so I leaned into it. (Photo in the comments)
