What if my baby doesn't sleep during their newborn session?

Honestly? I love those sessions.

As a lifestyle newborn photographer in Phoenix, I'm not chasing a sleeping baby.

Instead, I let baby lead.

Their piercing eyes locked into yours. The way their chin quivers as they yawn. Even at 2 weeks, they already have so much personality.

Lifestyle newborn photography is about capturing real life, real connection, and the ambience of those early days…not a posed, perfectly still moment that took three hours to set up. Awake babies bring something to a session that sleeping babies simply can't: presence.

So whether your baby sleeps the whole time, stays wide-eyed from start to finish, or somewhere beautifully in between, we're going to get nostalgic images to be cherished forever.

Mini sessions are wonderful for just wanting a few perfect images. But if you’re drawn to genuine connection, laughter...those in-between moments that feel like you...a full family session is where the magic happens ✨️

Because meaningful memories can't be captured in 15 rush minutes of posed smiles(often feeling disingenuous).
