Well hellllloooo!

It has been a minute! I have been soaking up all of the “slow season” these last few months. It is so sweet to have a job that ebbs and flows and allows time for rest after long stretches of lots and lots to do. I feel a little bit like I’ve been in hibernation, but spring is upon us, flowers are budding, my camera hands are thawing, and I’m so excited for all that is to come this year!

I am thrilled for my first post of 2026 to be Sarah & Conor’s engagement session! We started out in their beautiful apartment (will share those soon too) and ended up braving the freezing weather and running around on the beach. Is there anything better than snuggling up on an empty beach with the person you love? I don’t think so!!!

Katy and Joey got married Thanksgiving weekend during *that blizzard* (if you’re in central Illinois, YOU KNOW).

I was so amazed at how every shifted plan, every unanticipated delay, and even through the disappointments that came along the way, these two took everything in stride.

They embraced the literal storm and laughed in the midst of it all, which I think is a sign of how these two will go through their life together. Come what may, these two can weather the storm (and look adorable doing it!) ❄️

Harry & Sally- I mean Jacqueline + Kevin! I had the loveliest morning walking around cozy autumn Chicago neighborhoods watching these two just be absolutely in love.

I couldn’t fully put into words what Anna & Nathan’s wedding day felt like, so I will share some of Anna’s own:

“Fall was always my favorite season because after a long summer of people coming and going, off to new and unfamiliar adventures - everyone came home, and everything returned to as it should be.

So after many weeks, months, years of moving away from home and adventuring to new cities and states, Nathan & I came back to our midwestern home and got married on a perfect fall, October day. And today, with all our favorite people surrounding us, it feels like everything is as it should be once again.”

What an honor it was to document a love like theirs. 🤎🍂

From the most emotional first look to the party on the dance floor, every moment of Cecelia & Dan’s beautiful wedding day was a memorable one.

The thing that stood out to me the most throughout the day was C & D’s friendship. They are just the absolute best of friends who are committed to loving, caring for, and making each other laugh for the rest of their lives. ♥️
