cappschaos Where to put the sun when you are photographing your client.
seems simple but sometimes
you just need a little reminder. When it comes to the sun, keep it behind your subject or even to the side.
challenge yourself, go out and photograph your child or husband or friend and practice moving them with the sun.
change your angle. Squat down or angle up or stand tall and move around. Keep looking through your camera lens to see the different ways each angle affects the sun on your photo.

I did a thing ya'll!!!!

My photography course has sat on the shelf long enough. I absolutely LOVE to teach photography and I miss it. For some reason I am having the hardest time getting back to it. I literally have made a million plans. I have lists of ideas and nothing.l I haven't done anything with them.

So, tonight I just did it!!!!

Here's to doing things we love.

It's a messy and imperfect start, but it's a start! If you have a friend or someone you know that would love to learn to master their camera and learn to shoot in manual, I am your girl & I would love for you to share this with them!!

There are so many memories made throughout the holiday season. It seems like every day something new and bright and fun is happening. I know for me, I have to make it a priority to take the time to pull out my camera and actually take photos. Especially now that we have grand babies!!! Every single moment is special and precious. Back in the day, I use to do these ALL. THE. TIME. Back then it was for magazine shoots, clothing lines, etc. This go around I am focusing on SMALL BUSINESS'S & LOCAL ARTISTS.

If you or someone you know owns a small business or is a local artist that would love to be photographed in your business setting or creating your art, I would love to work with you.

This will be a trade deal. I will photograph you, your business, art, etc. and you will sign a model release giving me permission to use/sell the images to stock agencies. means. you could see your image in a magazine, online or on a billboard some day. You will receive the link to download your full resolution images to use as you please. Which
