Yesterday we had a blizzard but yet summer is on my mind.

We shot these one summer morning.
The day was new.
The water was still.
The air was soft.
And she was in her element.

Self love isn’t forced.
It’s felt.

Sometimes it shows up when your feet hit the sand.
When the wind moves your hair.
When there’s nothing around you but sky and water.

It’s putting yourself somewhere that reminds you who you are.

When a woman feels safe in her space,
she opens.

And that’s where the magic happens.

I don’t just photograph women.
I place them in spaces that let them unfold.
