Dreaming one day of when the stars align and I get to photograph in a historic cathedral like this.
This is your sign to ask the universe for what you want, to speak it, put it out there and then act as if it’s already going to happen.
I guess it’s a bit ridiculous but I believe in stuff life that -
That our words hold power
And ambitions have meaning
We play too small. I do too.
Imposter syndrome
Doubt and fears always come rushing to the surface and so we keep it all- the “too big” things- safe and neatly hidden away inside our hearts.
I don’t believe God exists inside a building -definitely no-
but I do believe we have permission
-in whatever aspect faith or spirituality means to you-
to dream big and believe bigger
But the kicker is that faith doesn’t truly breathe until we speak it into existence. Kept inside it’s just a dream, but our words give it life.
Isn’t that what always makes us feel silly-vulnerable even-
speaking our hopes and dreams into existence?
That’s because it now has a heartbeat.
I’d like to believe that inside the arched walls and etched into stain glass windows, the well worn pews that held the hopes and fears of so many others just like us, these big, bold, and beautiful cathedrals were trying to say to say something to us:
Let wonder and curiosity lead -the birthplace of our dreams
But then act-
Speak
Build
Share
Move
Dance
Create
Whatever it is-
Just do. Because our action is the water, the life blood, and that little heartbeat of a dream is now set in motion.
