I am so grateful for all of my clients that are willing to roll with last minute changes.

This family was scheduled for an outdoor late fall/early winter photoshoot.

We were watching the weather and knew it could possibly snow during our session, but weather seemed like it was going to provide a perfect snowy scenery an hour before we were scheduled to meet. We were all excited! But as it does, the Iowa wind picked up. We still attempted some outdoor photos but unfortunately, the strong wind + snow created a white sheet between my camera and the family. This family was so awesome though and we’re willing to pivot to an indoor location to finish the session.

I am excited to announce that I am now booking winter sessions!

I welcomed a baby girl in August and took some time off from my photography business to spend time with my growing family.

Sometimes, being an outdoor photographer means leaving the session with over 20 mosquitoes bites but this session was worth it.

This beautiful mother-to-be and I were both due to have our babies the same month so we had some fun conversations about the joys of parenthood. They were willing to try different poses and ideas and even brought their fur baby along for the session.
