In one short week is holding their annual release of Mornin’ Delight 2021, which is one of if not the best non-barrel aged stouts in the country with an average rating of 4.62 over the years, the proof is in the pudding. Like many, I wasn’t selected in the lottery for the release party so I’m over here hoping they have some extras at the end of the event 🤞🏻 hope all who go have a fantastic time with the TG Crew as they are some of the best people around!

A quick little ditty today. Here in good ol’ Iowa we received our first shipment from the best brewery West of the Iowa/Nebraska boarder.

WeldWerks Brewing Company sent some mighty fine brews for us to enjoy and Outforgiving your enemies was the best one (IMHO) that we received. While we received other bangers this one just had all the right stuff going on.

I also took the opportunity to shoot a simple one light shot in my newly renovated kitchen. Just a speed light to the camera right bouncing off my white subway tiles. Also edited on my phone using the Adobe app. Glad to have some new beers from to enjoy on this fine .

Long post ahead TL;DR TOPPLING GOLIATH IS THE BEST!!! 🥰 Furthermore is a saint! 🥰

About a mont ago Gillian from Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. reached out to me about using an old post of mine and in return, offered me a VIP visit to the brewery amongst other options, however I chose the visit. Fast forward to May 22nd and I was sitting in a room of fantastic people and being treated like a king. This wasn’t any event, this was the Assassin 2021 release. When I found out about this I was like a kid in a candy shop. I cannot thank Gillian and TG enough for the hospitality they showed my wife and I.

Fast forward to December 8th 2020. This is when I began an immensely large home renovation which took me 6 months to complete. Yes it is finally done and I can get back to shooting again. I have to apologize for the hiatus and little to no explanation as to why, however it was the best thing for me as I worked 40+ hrs on my day job, clocked out and became construction worker, Forman, husband, father, chef… you get the point. Needless to say we are now living in the home we’ve always wanted and I can say it was done by these two hands.

Moral of the story, keep creating! because even when you aren’t creating someone is out there admiring your work, and eventually they will reach out and change your life!

This beer is huge! Unbelievably grateful to for sending me this and other beers. BlackStack is becoming one of my favorite breweries. They are simply amazing at making beer unbelievably flavorful! Unfortunately for me they are 3 hours away from me 😞 Fantastic work to them and a huge thanks to Dwayne for the beer!

This is my second beer from the fine people over at and every time I’m impressed with their beer. This Oat Cream IPA by them has subtleties of sweetness and a hoppy finish. It’s really a great beer start to finish. Can’t wait to get my hands on more of their offerings.

This beer 👆🏻right here 👆🏻 is quite possibly the best IPA I’ve ever consumed. If you’ve had the opportunity to drink King Sue, imagine that being 5 times juicier and hoppier.
