I did something I haven't done in awhile, make art at the request of someone else. A musician/dj (Gib) needed some cover art for his new EP, and I obliged.
I wanted to share a bit of my process with you.
It was a fun task, and I'd be open to doing more stuff like this. If you're interested in commissioning me, feel free to DM me or shoot me an email.

I did go to school for this after all.
(I mean, I didn't go for graphic design... but they did teach me how to do it)

I purchased a camera today.
A Camp Snap 2, something to take low stakes pictures with. Photography is my favorite medium, but I find it overwhelming. This camera takes away the pressure of perfection I seek when using my DSLR. I took 27 pictures today, here are some I found worth sharing. More than half were blurry, and that's the fun of it.
Edited with lightroom to add a little 💫pizzazz💫

In the interest of keeping the algorithm happy, I give you more art.
The first image is from when the wildfire smoke was at its worst. I decided to play around with the color grading (a lot of photographers are doing that right now), it's trendy. I can see why.
The other two, I was just messing around trying to get some "idk why I took these" "road trip" style photos, nighttime spooky edition.
I'm currently working on a unicorn, but my apple pencil died, and who is to rush art anyways? I'll share that when it's finished. In the mean time, enjoy.
