With so many new faces around here, I thought it was the perfect time to introduce myself!

I'm Jessica, the photographer behind Golden Fern Creative. My heart is creating honest, earthy imagery rooted in connection, comfort, and storytelling. I want your photographs to feel natural, grounded, and lived in, so years from now they'll remind you exactly how that season of life felt.

A few fun facts about me...
🌿 I've had a camera in my hands since I was 9 years old.
🚜 I'm a farm kid through and through.
🏔️ I am completely mountain obsessed.
😂 If you're worried about feeling awkward during your session... don't be. I'm awkward too!
🍜 I put cinnamon in my chicken noodle soup. Don't knock it until you've tried it.
🤍 Being an auntie is my favorite thing in the world.
✨ I couldn't do any of this without the incredible people in my corner. My mom gave me my very first camera as a Christmas gift. My boyfriend patiently puts up with late-night editing sessions and all the "just a few more photos." And my friends are the kind of people everyone deserves. They're always willing to jump in on a shoot, tell me when I'm overthinking, or cheer on my wild ideas.

Whether you've been here from the beginning or just found Golden Fern Creative, thank you for being here. Your support allows me to do what I love, and I don't take that for granted.

Busy, busy week!

A full shoot day in Nome, ND for something very exciting, a relaxing evening with the sweetest guy, a 45-minute CycleBar class this morning, and contracts sent out while waiting for an oil change.
