Hey everyone! I’m Shellie Renee — the face, heart, and camera behind Shellie Renee Photography. By day, I work full-time at The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University Medical Center, and I’m also a part-time student at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks! ❤️🤍). I’m a proud mom of two amazing girls (now 31 and 27!) and blessed with a boyfriend who truly has the patience of a saint for putting up with my busy schedule and endless photo adventures. When I do get free time, I’m usually running (literally) all over Ohio and beyond, capturing photos. I love freezing real, honest moments — the ones that tell your story and make you feel something every time you look back. Thanks for following along and supporting this little dream of mine. 💜💛 Senior Night — A Walk Filled with Pride, Love, and a Few Tears! 🐾

Tonight, I had the honor of capturing some pretty special moments as our senior cheerleaders, cross country runners, and football players walked across the field with the people who have been cheering them on since day one.

There is just something about Senior Night that pulls at your heartstrings. One minute you're fixing their uniforms, tying their shoes, and getting them to practice on time, and the next you're walking beside them on a football field wondering where in the world the years went!

For many of these athletes, there are still games to play, races to run, and other sports seasons ahead. But I think tonight is one of those moments when the reality of having a senior really starts to sink in. ❤️

To all the moms, dads, grandparents, and siblings who made that walk tonight, I am sending you the biggest hugs! I saw the smiles, the pride, the laughter, and yes, a few of those tears that were trying really hard not to fall.

You all looked absolutely beautiful tonight, and I was so very honored to be there to capture these memories for you. I hope when you look back at these pictures, you remember not just the walk, but how incredibly proud you were in that moment.

🏈💜💛 THE LAST WALK UNDER THE FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS… 💛💜🏈

There is something about that final walk onto the football field your senior year that hits a little differently.

The last time you walk to midfield as a captain. The last time you shake the referees’ hands. The last time you kneel together in prayer. The last time you look across that field and call the flip of a coin.

All those little moments that seemed so routine for so many years suddenly become a lifetime of lasts.

For these seniors, it’s more than just football. It’s years of early mornings, late nights, bruises, victories, defeats, friendships, and memories that will follow them long after they hang up their cleats.

And while the scoreboard will eventually be forgotten, the brotherhood, the lessons, and the pride of wearing that Bulldogs uniform will remain forever.

As a photographer, I get to freeze these moments in time. But as someone who has watched so many of these boys grow up through my lens, I can tell you that some of these pictures hit my heart a little harder than others. 🥹

You may be walking onto that field for the last time as a high school football player, but you will forever be a Bulldog. 💜💛

It’s been a rough couple of days. 💔 My heart has been heavy watching my family go through so much pain, and emotionally, I’ve been struggling.

But tonight, our BCHS Boys Soccer Team took the field for the first round of the OHSAA Playoffs, and there was NO WAY I was missing it! ⚽💜💛

What some people may not realize is that my camera is my peace. It’s where the noise in my head goes quiet, and for a little while, I can escape everything happening around me.

Well, until the referees start making calls that have me wanting to throw my pictures up on a giant replay screen and yell, “EXCUSE ME! I HAVE PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE!” 😂📸🤦‍♀️

But tonight, I needed that field and those boys more than they could ever know. And then came the part that brought me to tears. ❤️

When I got back to my car, I opened the yellow gift bag the soccer parents had given me. Inside was a gift card to my favorite pizza place, Shirkey’s (YUM!), but the best part was a framed team picture signed by all the boys.

And I sat in my car and cried. 🥹

After the last couple of days, this was something I didn’t even realize how much I needed.

To the boys and their parents, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You have no idea what that little yellow bag meant to me tonight.

🏈💜💛 FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS — BULLDOGS VS. TIGERS! 🐾🐅

The Bulldogs and Tigers took to the field Friday night, and WOW, was it a game to see! The crowds were LOUD - I MEAN LOUD, the sidelines were buzzing, and those boys were ON FIRE battling it out in the trenches! 🔥🏈

I absolutely LOVE watching our Bulldogs take the field, no matter what the scoreboard says at the end of the night.

Thank you, once again, for welcoming me onto the sidelines to watch, cheer, dodge flying football players, and capture memories that you and your families can treasure for years to come.
