Hey everyone! I’m Shellie Renee — the face, heart, and camera behind Shellie Renee Photography. By day, I work full-time at The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University Medical Center, and I’m also a part-time student at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks! ❤️🤍). I’m a proud mom of two amazing girls (now 31 and 27!) and blessed with a boy

friend who truly has the patience of a saint for putting up with my busy schedule and endless photo adventures. When I do get free time, I’m usually running (literally) all over Ohio and beyond, capturing photos. I love freezing real, honest moments — the ones that tell your story and make you feel something every time you look back. Thanks for following along and supporting this little dream of mine. But the heat didn’t slow down those Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs! 🔥🐾

The Bulldogs welcomed the Circleville Tigers to their home field, and Team Loeffler and Team Richardson made one thing pretty clear… those Tigers weren’t coming into Bulldog territory and leaving with the wins! 😂💪

I am not gonna lie. It’s pretty cool to have your picture used in the newspaper and have your name printed below it. It might not be noticed by many but I appreciate it. Things they don't tell you about taking senior pictures episode 457:

You’re taking senior pictures, everything is looking GREAT, the lighting is perfect, the senior looks amazing… and then you get home and start editing.

And suddenly all I can see is… WHY IS THIS SIDEWALK SO DANG DIRTY?! 😩😂

Dirt. Stains. Random spots. Years of sidewalk abuse that I apparently did not notice AT ALL while taking the pictures. So there I am editing away, removing every little spot and stain because once my brain sees it, IT CANNOT UNSEE IT. What should have been a quick edit now takes approximately 47 years. 🤦‍♀️📸

I looked at Jeff and very seriously said: “I think I need to start carrying a leaf blower AND a power washer to any senior session that might remotely involve a sidewalk.

The look I got was basically…“Just click the edit button, Shellie. We are NOT starting a sidewalk cleaning business for your photography.” 😂😂😂

I tried. LOL

🏈📸 WELL… I DID SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT FRIDAY NIGHT! 😂💜💛

Instead of chasing the littles around the football field, I decided to mix things up and head to the BCHS Varsity Football game as the Bulldogs took on the Teays Valley Vikings! Kickoff was at 7PM… but apparently parking started sometime around Tuesday. 😂

I’m not even kidding when I say I had to have someone DROP ME OFF, so I can cut through the arboretum, because otherwise I’m pretty sure I would have been parking in a neighboring county and hiking in with my camera bag. 🤣📸 When the Bulldogs and Vikings meet up, EVERYBODY shows up. There isn’t a seat left in the stands, a spot along the fence, or probably an unclaimed blade of grass anywhere near that field. 😂

Even though the final score on the board wasn’t what our Bulldogs wanted to see, I was so honored to switch things up for the night and capture our Varsity Bulldogs. Those little Bulldogs are watching. They see the jerseys, the Friday night lights, the grit, the teamwork, and what it means to represent BLOOM-CARROLL.

🏈💜💛 WHAT A GAME TUESDAY NIGHT, BULLDOGS! 💛💜🏈

I am always so excited when I get the chance to be back on the sidelines with the Bloom Carroll Bulldogs! 📸🏈

Even though the final score wasn't the one we wanted to see, I was incredibly proud of the fight, heart, and passion you showed for the game. You played hard, kept battling, and gave me plenty of moments to capture behind my camera! 💜💛

I will say, I wasn't exactly a fan of the post game taunting by Liberty Union coming over onto the visitor side. Sportsmanship matters, win or lose, but sometimes the best response is to keep your head up, represent your team with pride, and move forward. Let your character speak louder. 💜

It was still a GREAT game, Bulldogs!

And HALLELUJAH... it appears Mother Nature has FINALLY stopped trying to drown every football field in the state of Ohio! 😂🌧️🏈 So maybe we can actually get back to some FOOTBALL!

Keep those heads up, Dawgs. On to the next one! 💪🐾 I can't wait to see you back on the field again soon! 💜💛📸
