eels like home here. I love making paper lists just to get the satisfaction of crossing items out once they are done, it’s not the same on my iPhone. I am a little OCD (ok maybe a little more than just a little). Bike riding and rollerblading are two of my very favorite activities. I like cooking specialty desserts, and yup, sometimes I do eat dessert before dinner! When I am in the kitchen I listen to really loud music and if a song I like plays I will dance to it…

I am a little goofy, maybe more. I have always loved overcast days and if it rains I even do my happy dance. My boys (husband included) are all very good at getting into trouble and even better at getting out of it by making me laugh. While I speak two languages fluently and am proficient in a third, I always manage to mess up American slang. I found the secret to getting your husband to cook all the time. Let him build a BBQ island. I love having a full house and LOVE having friends over, if food is involved it’s even better.

BTS - New Wall Art in the Reeves Household

Fun fact. Every collection Artisan has offered, started out the exact same way. For me. 😀

I designed what I wanted for my family, for my walls, for how I wanted to remember my boys at that point in our lives.

It was time to upgrade the collection in our dining room and I knew what I wanted or at least how I wanted it to make me feel.

Something with just us. Timeless. Simple. Elegant. And after having these photos smiling back at me for over a week, it does all that and I'll add one more. Priceless.

Yeah, I know - as the saying goes, it aint easy being cheesy, but I like to think I pull it off.

Two months away!

You two are about to start the most wonderful of adventures. It is truly wonderful and maybe a little wonderfully exhausting too, but in the best way possible.

They say time seems to slow down when we have new experiences and this is one of those that will absolutely deliver "new" on a daily basis.

You learn so much with your first little one, it's like a roller coaster, that feeling in your stomach is both exciting and a little scary.

This was such an enjoyable session, you two are so cute together and are going to be awesome parents..

I always play that song "walking on sunshine" when I shoot this photo. Both the song and the flower make me happy. I love sunflowers in my photos and in my garden too.

There's something comforting about seeing those you love up on the walls and the wonderful reminders you get when you walk by.

Like a little sea princess, lost in a daydream, taking everything in, with the attention and curiosity that is so abundant in little ones this age. I do miss this time, when wonder and excitement is an everyday occurrence. Hold on tight, it slips through your fingers faster than you realize.
