A huge thank you to Holly, Joe, and Akeem for trusting me to capture your lifts at the USPC Midwest Regionals this past Sunday. Not only did you put on an incredible performance on the platform, but you also gave me the opportunity to create images that showcase the strength, determination, and hard work that powerlifting is all about.

One of my favorite things about photographing meets is getting to freeze these moments in time. The nerves before the lift, the focus under the bar, the grind through the sticking point, and the celebration afterward. These are the moments you’ll want to look back on years from now and remember exactly how it felt.

This was such a fun meet, and I’m already counting down the days until the next one.
