I wanted to share an unveiling of my latest addition to my studio decor, photographed earlier this year, in my natural light Studio B. I can not WAIT to see it on my wall!
I'm so ready for another painterly "Old World" child's portraiture. Step 1 was the concept with conceptual design. Here's step 2...
Does it get any better than dancing Storm Troopers? All kinds of fun going on here at our booth at SW FloridaCon today!
Here's a little peek into one of the things I do. Sometimes a photographer just has to be a problem solver.
What a fun day of witnessing "giving back to the community". CapeStyle Magazine sent us to commemorate the first annual "Back-to-School Shopping Event". Through this, the Cape Coral FOP Lodge 33 took 70 local kids shopping at a Target store, here in Cape Coral. Each kid was matched up with an officer or team of officers to take them shopping at $200 per child for back to school supplies and clothes. What an honor to see this level of community giving.
What's a great way to spend a Saturday morning? For us, it was being part of documenting 92-year-old Frances Keogh getting to mark "riding on a motorcycle" off her bucket list.
When CapeStyle Magazine asked if we wanted to be a part of commemorating it, the answer was absolutely! I will post the story with photos in a blog post on my website (www.TSGallantPhotography.com) and be sure to check out the upcoming Cape Style Magazine for even more.
Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony for TS Gallant Photography at Big Blue Brewery. Thanks to Alex for hosting with great food and drinks, Matthew for taking such good care of us, Kevin and Susan for inviting me to piggy-back on the tail of your event, my support team at the Chamber, my friends who braved the pouring rain to come support me and, as always, to Ray, my husband and best lighting assistant/business partner a person could ever have (the kind who runs clear across town with only 30 min before the event start to get a thumb drive to replace a malfunctioning one, even though it's pouring down rain and he thinks we don't really need it but does it for me, anyway).
A huge and heartfelt thank you also for my clients, past, present and future. It's a great and genuine pleasure working with you all. Without you, I'd just be photographing wine bottles, food and cosmetics...none of which are great conversationalists, lol.
Guess what we're doing, tonight! Capturing a wonderful "popping the question" moment, followed by a brief engagement mini session at the fantastic Courtside Steakhouse near Sanibel. We are so excited and very honored to be a part of it. Yay!
Update: SHE SAID YES!
Vendors are all ready to rock and roll at #Calusacon! Forgive the shakiness. I'm a photographer, not a videographer, lol (and the healing broken leg doesn't help).
We had a wonderful time covering the fundraiser for the new Cape Coral animal shelter at the Wicked Dolphin Distillery, here in Cape Coral. What a great turnout for a wonderful cause. Everyone had a blast, despite the rain. We can't wait to see this up and running! They would love to have you mosey on over to their page to make a donation.
We are having a blast out here covering the 60's-themed fund raising event for Cape Coral's upcoming no-kill animal shelter at The Wicked Dolphin.
What a fun photo shoot, today!
SNEAK PEEK at the December Chico's TaGa featuring various framed prints from TS Gallant Photography. To see it all, just RSVP to the show to be added to the guest list (further down on my page).
It's always a great day for a photo shoot!
