This beautiful couple stopped me in my tracks on my way to work. I've cropped and adjusted for light and contrast only, in hopes of making them more visible, but they have been blessed with a pretty good camouflage.
The female seemed to be calling the shots, as she was the first to turn and run, and she was well over the fence ahead of him! What a treat!! What a blessing for my day. I saw two raptors shortly after that, along my way, and thanked God for these gifts.

It's starting to look like Fall in the Umpqua Valley, but mostly because it's so terribly dry. 😢🙏
