I’ve had a few people ask why they sometimes see the same wedding photos posted by another photographer and wanted to clarify!

For many weddings, I hire talented second shooters under R. Russett Photography to help ensure every important moment of your day is captured from multiple angles and perspectives. This allows me to provide a more complete gallery and better coverage for my couples.

While second shooters assist with capturing images, all editing, gallery delivery, client communication, and final products are handled through R. Russett Photography. Your experience and final gallery remain under my brand and quality standards.

You may occasionally see some of the same wedding images shared on a second shooter’s social media or portfolio after a specified period of time. This is a common industry practice and allows photographers to showcase work they helped create. You may also notice slight differences in editing style when they share images for portfolio-building purposes. (I’ve even done this myself in the past but may or may not have posted the content)

At the end of the day, my goal is to make sure your wedding memories are beautifully documented and that no special moment goes uncaptured!
