Just a little reminder that there’s a whole lot of life happening behind the camera, too. 🤍

I absolutely LOVE getting to photograph your families, milestones, and memories. But photography is one of the many hats I wear. Along with running this “little” business, I work a 9–5, have a part-time job, and am momma to a very busy 9-month-old baby boy.

That means sometimes my communication may be a little slower than either of us would like. Sometimes galleries take a little extra time. Life gets busy over here, too.

But please know that when I am working on your session, I am giving it my very best. I care about the little details, I want you to LOVE your gallery, and I always do my best to get everything back to you as quickly as I can while still giving you the quality and experience you deserve.

I’m incredibly grateful for every single person who trusts me with their memories, supports my business, and gives me the grace to balance this dream with all of the other important pieces of my life.

Volleyball has a funny way of looking a lot like life.

There are highs that make you want to soak in every second, and lows that leave you questioning what comes next. There’s joy, uncertainty, excitement, disappointment, heartbreak, tears of happiness, and tears of frustration. There are moments when everything seems to fall perfectly into place, and moments when you have to dig a little deeper to find your strength.

But if there’s one thing this game teaches us, it’s that a single serve, a single point, a single game, or even a single season could never define who we are.

Because you are so much more than the wins.
So much more than the losses.
So much more than the moments that didn’t go the way you hoped.

And sometimes, the hardest seasons are the ones that show us just how strong, resilient, and beautifully made we really are.
What a privilege it is to capture this season of your life… not just the athlete you are, but the person you’re becoming. 🤍🏐✨

Before there was The Legacy Lens Project there was Londyn in Bloom, before there was Londyn in Bloom, there was simply Londyn.

Londyn was born June 6, 2017… a little girl who would leave a mark far greater than anyone could have imagined.

Shortly after her third birthday, a large mass was discovered on the back of her brain. She underwent surgery to remove it and began chemotherapy. When the mass returned, she faced surgery again, followed by 29 days of brain and spine radiation. She continued treatment, endured more chemotherapy, and fought through more than any little girl ever should have had to face.

But through it all, Londyn remained Londyn.

Her mommma says that from the very beginning, Londyn was more concerned about everyone else than she was about herself. She didn't want people to be sad. She didn't want people to worry. Even while walking through something no child should ever have to experience, she was constantly making sure the people around her were okay.

That was the kind of little girl she was.

In June 2021, an MRI showed new disease in other areas of her brain. Having already reached the lifetime limit of radiation her brain could safely receive, there were no other medical treatments available.

On October 17, 2021, Londyn was called to be an angel in Heaven.

But that wasn't the end of her story.

Because Londyn's story has never really been about the years she was given. It's about what she did with them… and what she continues to do through the people who knew and loved her.
Her legacy has reached far beyond her family. She has touched an entire community and people far beyond it. She continues to bring people together, inspire acts of kindness, create moments of joy, and remind us what it looks like to love selflessly.

She was a special puzzle piece not only in her family, but in the lives of so many who had the privilege of knowing her.

And I am so honored and privileged to know and love the Logsdon family, to witness the way they carry Londyn with them, and to watch them live out her legacy every single day.

Londyn in Bloom was created because of her.
The Legacy Lens Project was created because of her and several others angels in our community that we are honored to talk to you about soon.

And every family we get to love and help through this project becomes another page in the story she started.

Her story is still being written….
And what a beautiful privilege it is to help write it

What a privilege it is to show woman and young girls just how beautiful they are. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of what I do is hearing things like, “Oh my gosh, there’s no way that’s me!” or “Wait… are those seriously my pictures?” and my personal favorite, “Hold on… how did you make me look that good?!”

And I always smile because the truth is… I didn’t make you look good.

I just held the camera and snapped the picture.

The beauty in those photos? The smile, the eyes, the way you laugh, the little things that make you you… none of that came from me.

It was there before you ever stepped in front of my camera…

And I guess that’s why it’s my favorite part of the job because I get to show you what I see.

Maybe sometimes we just need to see ourselves from a different perspective to finally realize what was there all along.

And if I get to be the person who helps you see it? What a privilege that is.🤍✨🫶🏻🦋

…. Because some legacy’s continue to bloom🦋✨🫶🏻

This year’s Londyn in Bloom minis were such a beautiful reminder of how lucky we are to live this life. The love was overflowing and so was my gratitude to have the opportunity to document it. Thank you to everyone that inquired about a mini slot, hopefully next year I’ll be able to offer more days and slots:)
